Dear Potential Author,

Thank you for your interest in publishing with Good Year Books, publishers of supplemental educational and classroom materials for educational retailers, general bookstores, and home-schooling parents.

We are constantly seeking quality learning materials from professionals like yourself. At this time, we are emphasizing products for kindergarten to grade 8, although we will acquire selected materials for early childhood and high school.

We are particularly seeking quality materials for language arts, writing, reading, and phonics. In addition, we are interested in materials for social studies, mathematics, science, multicultural/ESL, and arts and drama, as well as professional resources for teachers or home-schooling parents.

We need the following items to be able to evaluate your proposal. If you do have a complete manuscript, or have additional materials or information that may help in the review process, please feel free to include them as well.

• A completed copy of the Submission Information Form
• A table of contents or outline for your proposed work
• An introduction or preface explaining your material and how it will be used
• A sample chapter (including a sample lesson plan or worksheets, if applicable)
• A current resume or curriculum vita listing previous publications, if any

Once we receive these items from you, we will begin our in-house review process, including evaluation by publishing and educational professionals. Please allow at least eight weeks for this review. We will contact you promptly with the outcome of this review.
